I went craft supply shopping again today. I swear I'm going to put us in the poor house. I bought yarn for a blanket. I've made plenty of baby blankets, but never an adult sized one. It's a Christmas present, and yes, I started my Christmas crafting and shopping months ago. I also bought purse handles for the flower purse and some felt. I think Joann's also has Butterick patterns on sale. I was in a hurry so I didn't do much looking. I have to go back tomorrow so I can get another skein for my baby blanket so I'll check it out then.
I was standing in line at Joann's and there was a little boy and girl behind me. They noticed my Hello Kitty wallet. They were so cute! The little boy said, "I like your Hello Kitty wallet." The little girl that I assume is his sister said, "me too."
My cacti haven't sprouted yet. I knew they wouldn't. Mom is going to give me a little turtle and snail cactus planter that she has, but she has to find them first. Hopefully I'll get at least 2 sprouts so I have something to put in them.
