Baby Socks

I finished the baby socks. I started them a while back. I was using 4 DPNs size 3 and I lost one so I ripped them out and started over with size 4. I'm glad I went up a size of needles because I don't think these socks are going to fit for long.

I'm Not Loving It

I finished a baby blanket a few weeks ago. I saw a very pretty brown and blue variegated yarn that I fell in love with. I loved the color combo. Once I started knitting I fell out of love. It was too 70's couch for me. I went ahead and finished the blanket. I like the yarn much better still wound in a skein.

Stash Busting Baby Sized Washcloths

I've posted about my love for making dishcloths. I happened to have tons of left over cotton dishcloth making yarn. In an effort to stash bust and make something useful I knitted up some baby sized washcloths. I made them in a simple fan and feather stitch on size 7 needles.

Close up of fan and feather stitch.

Bye Bye Craft Room

My craft area is being broken up. The computer/craft room is soon to be gone. It's becoming a nursery. I have until April to get everything moved out and the new stuff moved in. You would not believe the amount of time I have spent looking at baby knitting patterns since I found out I was pregnant. The list of baby crafting is insane. The kid would probably be done with college by the time I finished all of the baby craft projects I want to do. Booties alone will take me years. Uggs, cowboy booties, ice skates....the list goes on. Then there is sewing. Baby quilt, diaper stacker, burp clothes...don't get me started I'd be here all day. Now I have to learn to crochet because the cowboy booties are in crochet. My baby needs a pair of blue and silver cowboy booties to go with the Dallas Cowboys quilt and onesies. I did promise my Mom that I would put pink bows in her hair (if it's a girl) when she wears the Dallas Cowboys onesie.
