I made this tote bag and scarf for my partner. I wanted to make her the Dragon Scales Scarf. I couldn't get it done in time for send out. I sent her the other items and let her know another would be on the way. I finished it and she has received it. I enjoyed the pattern and will probably knit up a couple to give as Christmas presents. I used Bernat Satin in Wine.

Scarves
Here is the picture of two scarves I made. I made them for a scarf drive and didn't get them mailed out in time. I'm sure I can find somewhere to donate them to. I made them in a simple garter stitch. I wanted something easy to do for when I vegged out in front of the tv.

I'm Not Loving It
I finished a baby blanket a few weeks ago. I saw a very pretty brown and blue variegated yarn that I fell in love with. I loved the color combo. Once I started knitting I fell out of love. It was too 70's couch for me. I went ahead and finished the blanket. I like the yarn much better still wound in a skein.

Knitty's Brown Bag
I knitted the Brown Bag from Knitty. I couldn't find the yarn it called for locally and I was too cheap to order it on line and pay for shipping. Instead I used a double strand of Patons Classic Merino Wool in Dark Natural Mix. I was hoping to find a clasp similar to the one used in Knitty, but the pickins were slim around here. The one I used I found at Hobby Lobby. I wanted a magnetic type closure, but all I could find were plain jane. This was my first successful felting project. I wish I had remembered to take a picture before felting. It looked like a giant bowl and I was worried. It felted up a lot better than I expected.

Swap Socks
One of the things I like about the Ongoing Wishlist Swap on Craftster is that a lot of people want socks. I love to make socks and I think everyone I know is getting tired of me giving them socks. It works out well for all parties involved. The last socks which were sent to someone for the OWS on Craftster.

Mom's Christmas Present
Here is the picture of the blanket I knitted Mom for her Christmas present. I used a fan and feather pattern. It's not the best picture in the world, but it's the best one that came out.

I'm Addicted
I like this pattern, but I didn't like it with this yarn. Next I'm going to try it with solid color yarn.

Baby Blanket
I finished up the baby blanket over the weekend. This is the 4th blanket I've done in this pattern. I think the next time I have to make a blanket for someone I'm going to find a different pattern. I found a nice broken rib pattern while decided if I wanted to do this one or not. I may try that one next time. I have to get a card and some wrapping paper then I can mail this one out. I really liked the yarn I used so I'll probably use it again for the next one. The yarn is machine washable!

TSMDKP
The Top Secret Mother's Day Knitting Project is finished and given away. My Mom loved the shawl. I loved it so much that I went back to Joann's and bought yarn to make myself one. Mine is going to be black and gray. It's a fun pattern to knit and it knits up quickly. I got the pattern online from Joann's.
